Ron is the President and Founder of Ring Financial Services. He is a Registered Principal with LPL Financial and currently holds his series 7, 24, 63, and 65 securities licenses, along with life and health insurance licenses in multiple states. As a financial advisor, Ron brings a seasoned understanding of investment management and a genuine desire to serve others, always taking a holistic approach to each client’s goals and long-term vision.
Ron attributes his strong work ethic, straightforward business philosophy, conservative family values, and commitment to service to his upbringing in a small Nebraska town, where he worked on his family's farm. He met his wife, Ruth, while attending Wayne State College and after marrying, began his career in agriculture. In 1987, he transitioned from farming and agricultural sales into the financial services industry, earning his securities licenses and beginning his career as a stockbroker.
In the early 1990s, Ron shifted his practice from a transaction-oriented model to one centered on comprehensive, long-range financial planning. He added licenses in Life, Health, Home, and Auto insurance, and from 1992-1998 he was affiliated with MetLife as a registered representative and agent specializing in mutual funds, annuities, life insurance, and long-term care.
In 1998, Ron accepted a position with Banc One Securities--now JP Morgan Chase--as Senior Investment Consultant. In this role, he collaborated with trust officers and private and commercial bankers to serve clients' investment and financial planning needs. During this tenure, he helped manage assets in excess of $500 million.
Ron founded Ring Financial Services in 2001, where he continues to focus on building strong client relationships and delivering personalized wealth management advice. His extensive experience and deep industry knowledge guide the recommendations RFS provides today as we help clients Reach for Financial Success.
Ron and Ruth have been married for over 51 years and have 3 children, Ben, Luke, and Katie and 8 grandchildren. Ron is a man of strong faith and is an eternal optimist, known for his quick sense of humor and having a joke for almost every occasion. An avid golfer, he can often be found at Keene Trace Golf Club. He’s also a passionate college football fan, proudly cheering for both the Kentucky Wildcats and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Ron serves as an Elder at Wellington Church and sits on the Board of Directors for Bluegrass Care Navigators and Sayre Christian Village.
